Kuwaiti disable team wins three medals in Dubai

KUWAIT, March 9 (KUNA) — Kuwait Disabled team won three medals including one gold and two silver in the 2016 Paralympic Asia-Oceania Championship held in Dubai.
Chairman of Kuwaiti Disabled Sports Club and head of the Kuwaiti team to the championship Shafi Al-Hajri, told KUNA by telephone Wednesday that the Kuwaiti champion Dhari Buti won a gold medal in the men’s shot putF37, while Hamad Al-Adwani got the silver in the paralympic wheel-chair competition for 100 m T53 and Ahmad Niqa in T33 same category. Al-Hajri praised the performance of three players in the tournament, which will last until 12 March, adding that Kuwaiti champions are able to achieve the best results in these major international forums.(end) afh.haq
