KRCS issues book on local, int'l feats

KUWAIT, March 14 (KUNA) — The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) on Monday released a fresh book that contains its local and international accomplishments and successes as well as challenges since it was created in 1966.
“This book is deemed a comprehensive reference for the society’s humanitarian activities,” KRCS Board Chairman Hilal Al-Sayer said to KUNA.
He added that the book provides those interested with photos, information and details pertinent to the KRCS’ external relief and humanitarian projects in disaster-hit countries.
The KRCS chief highly appreciated interest and support for the society’s projects and activities from the country’s political leadership, mainly His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who is a “Humanitarian Leader”.
The KRCS has provided humanitarian and relief aid to people hit by natural disasters in many world countries, Al-Sayer pointed out. (end)
