Bahrain, Tunisia discuss regional developments

MANAMA, Jan 27 (KUNA) — Latest Arab-related and regional developments were discussed Wednesday by Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Issa Al-Khalifa and visiting Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, official media reported.
According to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), King Hamad stressed the importance of President’s Essebsi’s visit amid the serious challenges Arab nations are currently facing, which require intensifying joint consultation and maximum levels of coordination and constant cooperation to address them.
He also announced that new agreements are to be signed on the sidelines of the Essebsi’s visit, stressing keenness to activate outcomes of joint agreements for the best interests of the two countries through the Joint Committee.
For his part, Essebsi said international circumstances are changing rapidly as they are too many, adding that his country’s policy is “realistic” and emphasize on preserving Arab people’s dignity and pride, and Arab countries’ security and stability. (end)
