Armenian man attacks Turkish Embassy in Moscow

MOSKOVA (CIHAN)- An Armenian opened fire with a rifle on the Turkish Embassy in Moscow on Monday morning.

According to the Russian police, the name of the attacker was identified as Arthur Mirzoyan, a 43-year-old Armenian manager of a firm in Moscow.

No causalities or injuries have been reported in the attack.

The man shot at the signboard on the embassy building after parking his car on the street in the morning hours.

Mirzoyan reportedly refused to explain his motive for the attack, but police put emphasis on the tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a possible motive.
