Sultan bin Zayed condoles South Africa President on Mandela’s death

WAM ABU DHABI, 8th December 2013 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative has sent a cable of condolences to South African President Jacob Zuma on the death of the historic icon, political leader and former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela.

Sheikh Sultan recalled the role of Mandela in contributing to the establishment of the principles of justice, equality, stressing that he would remain a national symbol in the memory of the people of South Africa and the world as a whole.

“By his death, the world has lost a global character embodied the meaning of peace, freedom and equality,” he added in his message.
