DOHA, – Qatar Airways has announced a code-share partnership with Spanish carrier Vueling Airlines, offering passengers’ enhanced travel across Europe.

Qatar Airways passengers can now connect with ease to 67 popular routes of Vueling Airlines’ extensive network; which flies to 24 destinations in Spain, 16 in Italy and four in Portugal, in addition to a number of destinations in

France, Croatia, Germany, Malta, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.

The new partnership will allow seamless connectivity via the airlines’ common gateways of Barcelona El Prat and Rome Fiumicino.

Qatar Airways operates double-daily flights between both cities and its Hamad International Airport hub in Doha, linking Vueling Airlines’ European network with Qatar Airways’ global network of more than 150 destinations.

Qatar Airways business class customers will be able to enjoy the comfort of Vueling Airlines excellence class, with fast-track security, access to premium lounges and priority boarding and seating. The benefits also extend to frequent flyers with Qatar Airways Privilege Club members eligible to earn Qmiles on Vueling Airline code-share flights.

The new code-share agreement, which builds upon the interline agreement signed between the two carriers in Oct, 2014, is effective immediately and bookings can be made via Qatar Airways beginning Wednesday (yesterday).
