Problems in internet connection in Azerbaijan’s Terter and Aghdam regions eliminated – UPDATED

Baku: The problems occurred in internet connection in Azerbaijan’s Terter and Aghdam regions have been eliminated.

APA’s Karabakh bureau reports that internet connection was fully restored at about 15:00 in the aforementioned regions.

Damaged internet lines were replaced with new ones.

Banking operations were also restored. Financial institutions are rendering public services.

The internet connection got interrupted in Azerbaijan’s Terter and Aghdam regions today at 10:00.

APA’s Karabakh bureau reports that it is impossible to carry out banking operations due to the interruption in internet connection.

Spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Mushvig Amirov told APA-Economics that the problem occurred as fiber optic lines were damaged during drilling operations in the Terter region. “The emergency team of the Ministry is working at the scene. The problem will be eliminated within an hour.”
