Kuwaiti oil price up USD 1.86 to USD 25.20 pb

KUWAIT, Jan 29 (KUNA) — The price of Kuwaiti oil rose USD 1.86 to USD 25.20 per barrel on Thursday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Friday.
In world markets Brent Crude futures mix went up Friday for current week gains to record to rise by 8 percent for the second week in a row, backed by hopes for a deal between producing countries to resolve the issue of growing global supply.
Meanwhile, the price of the Brent mix went up yesterday by 79 cents to USD 33.89 pb (representing around 2.4 percent). American crude also increased 92 cents to USD 33.22 pb. (end) osj.sd
