King Salman meets Kerry on regional issues

RIYADH, March 11 (KUNA) — Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received US Secretary of State John Kerry and his accompanying delegation in Hafar Al-Baten city, east Saudi Arabia, on Friday evening.
The two sides discussed the bilateral ties and the latest developments of the situation in the region, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The audience was attended by Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and other officials.
From the US side the meeting gathered Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Riyadh Timothy A. Lenderking and Undersecretary for Political Affairs Thomas A. Shannon, as well as other senior officials. (end)
