Jordan condemns “terrorist” attack in Egypt's Al-Arish city

AMMAN, March 20 (KUNA) — The Jordanian government on Sunday condemned Saturday’s terrorist attack that targeted a police checkpoint in Egypt’s North Sinai city of Al-Arish, which killed 13 police officers and injured 12 others.
In a press statement, the country’s Minister of Media Affairs and official government spokesman Mohammad Al-Moumni said that Jordan “condemns this cowardly, terrorist attack that aims to spark chaos and threaten stability in Egypt.” Jordan “firmly” opposes extremism and terrorism in all of its manifestations, Al-Moumni noted, calling on the international community to exterminate all forms of terrorism.
