Hazza bin Zayed meets Egyptian Defence Minister

WAM Cairo, July 9th, 2013 (WAM) — Visiting UAE National Security Advisor H.H.

Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan today met with General Abdul Fattah Al Sisi, Commander-in-Chief of Egypt’s Armed Forces and Minister of Defence.

The meeting, which took place at Egyptian Ministry of Defence in attendance of UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reviewed brotherly ties linking the two countries and people.

General Al Sisi updated Sheikh Hazza on the latest developments in Egypt and efforts the Armed Forces and other security agencies were making to preserve security and stability in all Egypt as well as their role in protecting national gains.

Sheikh Hazza emphasised the vital role of the Armed Forces in this delicate stage Egypt is passing through, especially in performing their national duty to preserve security and stability given its status as a key pillar and protector of national unity.

He wished Egypt and its brotherly people dignity and stability so as to pursue its aspired role at Arab and international spheres.
