End of the Acceptance of Local Nominations for WSA Today

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) confirmed the end of the acceptance of local nominations to participate in the World Summit Awards (WSA2019) today. The Ministry called on all companies, institutions and individuals in Qatar to participate in the competition, to provide their best digital content applications to compete in the eight categories of the award, and to represent the State of Qatar at the global level.

The products that can be submitted to the competition include any applications that offer innovative, high-quality digital content, such as interactive web pages, applications, text-based products, and more.

The content must be consistent with the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights, which means free from incitement to war, violence and racial discrimination, and non-infringement of universally accepted copyright. The Contest Authority is entitled to reject any acts contrary to the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights. They also should be actual projects that are already implemented and unfinished versions will not be accepted and will be excluded without prior notice. The WSA Authority shall bear no legal consequences as a result.
