EIGHT PALESTINIANS INJURED IN CLASHES WITH OCCUPATION FORCES NEAR JERICHO

Ramallah – At least eight Palestinians were injured with rubber-coated steel rounds and 14 others suffocated by teargas during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces at the northern entrance to Jericho city, east of the West Bank, on Sunday.

Local sources told Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that Israeli occupation forces used rubber-coated steel rounds and teargas to disperse Palestinian protesters who were demonstrating in support of the over 1800 hunger striking Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said one of its ambulances was hit by Israeli rubber-coated steel round.

Earlier, the Israeli occupation forces raided several Palestinian houses in different parts of the occupied Jerusalem city and arrested nine Palestinians. (QNA)
