Egypt condemns Saudi Al-Ahsaa mosque attack

CAIRO, Jan 30 (KUNA) — Egypt strongly condemned the attack that targeted Imam Al-Redha Mosque in Saudi Arabia, which resulted in killing and injuring many victims, and strongly rejecting all attempts to disrupt stability in the kingdom.
In a press statement late Friday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry expressed condemnation to the attack, affirming on the need to exert efforts and cooperate on ending violence and whoever stands behind it.
The statement emphasized the unequivocal support to the Saudi kingdom’s efforts in combating terrorism and maintaining security and stability in the country.
It offered its condolences to all victims, wishing a speeding recovery to the injured.
The attack took place in eastern city of Al-Ahsaa and killed four people and wounded 18 others, including two policemen. (end) rg.mb
