Earthquake of 5 Magnitude Jolts Northern Pakistan

Islamabad, An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale hit North Pakistan on Monday, the country’s meteorological department said.
The epicenter of the quake was 28 kilometer deep at Afghanistan-Tajikistan border, Director National Seismic Monitoring Centre of Pakistan Meteorological Department said.
He said the tremors were felt in northern areas of the country. No loss of life or property damage has been reported so far.
