LONDON — Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with the UK Prime Minister Theresa May at the British Prime Ministry on Thursday and discussed bilateral relations.

The two sides also delved into a host of regional and international issues, especially developments in the Middle East, the situation in Syria and the need to lift the blockade and end the suffering endured by the Syrian people.

The meeting tackled as well the issue of terrorism with its serious repercussions and worsening threat to the security and stability of the world, as well as the need to address the causes of this issue on both regional and international levels.
