Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Wednesday with Chairman of the Political Bureau of Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine (Hamas) Dr. Khalil Al Hayya and a number of the movement's leaders. The meeting discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs praised Hamas's decision to accept the roadmap for completing the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. He expressed hope that this would contribute to ending the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Strip and achieve their aspirations for security and stability.

His Excellency also emphasized the importance of the international community assuming its responsibilities and pressuring Israel to fulfill its obligations under the agreement. He highlighted the need to stop ongoing violations of Palestinian rights to ensure the completion of the roadmap's implementation, ultimately leading to peace and stability in the Gaza Strip.
