Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 20.94 points, or 0.21%, at the start of Wednesday's trading, reaching 9,827 points, under pressure from most sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the market data showed declines in several sectors. Insurance experienced a decline of 0.64%, Telecoms fell by 0.39%, Banks and Financial Services dropped by 0.35%, Transportation went down by 0.32%, Consumer Goods and Services decreased by 0.25%, and Real Estate dipped by 0.14%. Meanwhile, Industrials showed a positive performance with an increase of 0.14%.
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 39.643 million, with 15.797 million shares traded in 2,847 transactions, according to QSE data.
