Riyadh: The Saudi Cabinet stressed the need to keep the straits of Hormuz and Bab Al Mandab, as well as all vital waterways, open, secure, and free from any threats.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session was chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. During the meeting, the Cabinet discussed regional and international developments, emphasizing efforts to de-escalate tensions and prevent the resurgence of conflicts in the region.

The discussion also focused on supporting comprehensive and sustainable diplomatic solutions to ensure the freedom of maritime navigation. The Cabinet underscored the importance of diplomatic efforts in maintaining the security and openness of these crucial maritime passages.
