Doha: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff engaged in a phone conversation on Tuesday to deliberate on the ongoing regional tensions and efforts to mitigate conflicts in the Middle East.

According to Qatar News Agency, Abdelatty highlighted the necessity of amplifying both regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and preventing further escalation of conflicts. He emphasized that political and diplomatic solutions, along with dialogue, should be prioritized to address the ongoing crises. This approach would help protect the region from further instability and safeguard the security and interests of its nations and peoples.
