Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its approval of the United States' decision to remove the Syrian Arab Republic from the list of state sponsors of terrorism.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar released a statement on Tuesday, characterizing the decision as a constructive step that could aid in efforts to promote stability in Syria and the broader region. The ministry emphasized that this move aligns with the political settlement process as outlined in international resolutions, aiming to meet the aspirations of the Syrian people.
