UAE Air Defenses Respond to Ballistic Missile, 11 Drones

Abu dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its air defenses successfully countered a ballistic missile and 11 drones that were launched from Iran in recent hours. The ministry confirmed that there were no casualties resulting from this specific incident.

According to Qatar News Agency, the UAE's air defenses have been actively engaged since the onset of these attacks. The ministry reported that they have intercepted a total of 520 ballistic missiles, 26 cruise missiles, and 2,221 drones over the course of the ongoing threat.

The ministry also disclosed that the attacks have resulted in the deaths of three servicemen, including an Arab civilian contractor working with the armed forces. Civilian casualties have reached 10, and 221 individuals of various nationalities have sustained injuries.
