Study Reveals Combined Exercise Regimen Reduces Chronic Disease Risk

A study by researchers at australia's university of queensland: found that combining cardio and resistance exercises offers greater protection against chronic diseases than either exercise alone or inactivity.

According to Qatar News Agency, the nine-year study involved more than 8,000 participants and revealed that integrating both types of exercise could reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes by up to 50 percent. The research also found a 24 percent reduction in the risk of high blood pressure and a 23 percent decrease in cancer risk when both exercise regimens were combined.

Researchers strongly recommended incorporating both aerobic and strength exercises into weekly routines to effectively help prevent chronic diseases.
