Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Monday's trading session lower by 152.94 points, or 1.52 percent, reaching 9,892.24 points. According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 145,391,777 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 388,661,239.530 through 28,309 transactions across all sectors. The trading activity saw the shares of seven companies advance, whereas those of 46 others declined, while the shares of one company remained unchanged. At the close of trading, market capitalization stood at QAR 594,853,874,255.380 compared to QAR 603,500,061,773.024 in the previous session, indicating a notable decrease in overall market value.
