Riyadh:Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan engaged in separate phone discussions on Thursday with the foreign ministers of Cyprus and Germany, focusing on regional developments.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos and German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul concentrated on diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions. The talks emphasized ensuring the safety and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab El-Mandeb, aiming to enhance regional security and stability.
The phone calls highlight Saudi Arabia's active role in fostering diplomatic channels to address and mitigate regional conflicts, particularly in strategically significant maritime areas.
