Qatar Secures Title in Beach Handball Global Tour Finals Against Brazil

DOHA — Qatar’s beach handball team emerged victorious at the Beach Handball Global Tour Finals, defeating Brazil with a score of 2-1 at the Al Gharafa beach stadiums.

According to Qatar News Agency, the finals concluded with an intense match where the Brazilian team initially led the first half 24-12. However, the Qatari team reversed their fortunes in the second half with a 26-22 win and then clinched the match with a 5-4 score in the penalty shootouts.

The Danish team secured third place in the tournament by overcoming the Tunisian team with a score of 2-0 in a match that determined the third and fourth positions. The crowning ceremony featured prominent attendees including QHA President Ahmed Al Shaabi, QHA Secretary General Mohammed Jaber, and representatives from the International Handball Federation.

The route to the final saw Qatar’s team registering victories against Tunisia and Brazil, and a loss to Denmark.
