Qatar hosts the 18th meeting of the Middle East Regional Monitoring Agency Board

The State of Qatar, represented by Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), hosted the eighteenth meeting of the Middle East Regional Monitoring Agency Board of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which was held from  19th to the 20th of September 2022.

 

The meeting was attended by 41 participants including representatives from countries of the Middle East region, which are members of the Agency, under the supervision of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Middle East Regional Office.

 

Several aspects were discussed in the meeting, with focus on the issue of ensuring air safety procedures on high-altitude routes.

 

It is worth noting that the Middle East Regional Monitoring Agency was established in 2005, and includes Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Sudan, Oman, Egypt, Yemen and Iran.
