Palestinian Shot Dead by Israeli Occupation in Ramallah

Ramallah: A young Palestinian man was killed by Israeli occupation forces on Sunday in the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestine News and Information Agency quoted the head of the Deir Jarir village council, Fathi Hamdan, saying that the young man was killed during an attack by settlers and occupation forces on the village. Hamdan reported that armed settlers attacked citizens' homes on the outskirts of the village, prompting a force from the occupation army to storm the area to provide protection for the settlers.

The cities, towns, and camps of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have been witnessing daily raids and incursions into villages and towns by the occupation forces. These actions are often accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets, as well as toxic tear gas canisters, at Palestinian youth.
