Doha: At least one Palestinian has been killed and six others injured, including one critically, in Israeli strikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian medical sources.
According to Qatar News Agency, the fatality occurred after an Israeli drone targeted a group of people west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. In addition to this incident, two women sustained injuries in separate events in Gaza City.
Four Palestinians were wounded, one of them seriously, in another Israeli strike near Al Faluja Tower, also located west of Khan Younis. Reports of artillery fire have been noted in parts of northern Gaza and Gaza City as well.
These events transpire despite a ceasefire between Israeli occupation forces and Hamas that took effect on October 10.
