Amman, Jordan: The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) has dispatched two planes loaded with medical supplies to the Gaza Strip on Friday, with a third plane scheduled to depart tomorrow.
According to Jordan News Agency, JHCO Secretary General Hussein Al Shibli. Al Shibli stated that this aid, a collaboration between various Jordanian agencies and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), is coordinated with the Arab Republic of Egypt. The three aircraft are carrying a total of 77 tonnes of medicines and medical equipment to El Arish airport, from where they will be transferred to the Egyptian Red Crescent.
With these flights, JHCO has now sent ten planes to Gaza since the onset of the recent events, delivering food, medical supplies, and medications. The organization continues to receive cash donations through multiple channels, including Bank al Etihad and its website.
