Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Dr. Abdullah Bu Habib, on Friday met with a Qatari delegation headed by Nasser Abdullah Al-Mannai, with whom he discussed the possibility of having qualified Lebanese citizens contribute to the success of the FIFA World Cup event, which will be hosted by Qatar next November.
Both sides also discussed the possibility of establishing industrial, commercial, and tourism partnerships. It has also been agreed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants should study the possibility of cooperating with the Ministry of Labor to setup an electronic platform to facilitate the employment process of Lebanese nationals wishing to work in the sisterly state of Qatar.
