Caretaker Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Abiad, on Friday met in his office at the Ministry, a Qatari delegation, which included the Executive Director of Human Resources at the Qatari Ministry of Health Fahd Ali Khamis Al-Maslamani, the Qatari Health Ministry’s Director of Passports and Housing Ahmed Matar Ali Al-Hajri, and the Assistant Executive Director of Recruitment at the Qatari Health Ministry Sabiha Amin Qasemi.

The meeting reportedly touched on the initiatives undertaken by Qatar to support the health sector in Lebanon at this stage through the Qatari donation to provide electricity to government-run hospitals, and the support provided to Saint John Hospital and Karantina Hospital.

Talks also dwelt on ways of cooperation to support the country’s health sector and the possibility of carrying out joint projects to develop human cadres of both countries.
