Five Palestinians, Including Four Children, Injured in Israeli Shelling Across Gaza

Gaza: Five Palestinians were injured Friday due to Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip, accompanied by the ongoing demolition of homes by the Israeli army in the eastern region of the Strip. Medical sources in Gaza reported that four children were injured when an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on them in the Al Salatin area, southwest of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. Additionally, a Palestinian man sustained injuries from gunfire by an Israeli drone at the Shuja'iyya intersection, east of Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli forces continued demolishing buildings and residential neighborhoods within the Green Line along the eastern border of the Gaza Strip. Loud explosions from the demolition operations were reported intermittently. Furthermore, Israeli tanks and artillery heavily shelled the Jorat al-Lut and Ma'an areas, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Several homes were demolished northeast of Al Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, and artillery shelling was reported east of Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel took effect on October 11. This followed the withdrawal of the Israeli army from its positions and populated areas in the Gaza Strip, marking the beginning of the return of displaced persons to the northern Gaza Strip. This agreement is part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war on Gaza.
