Cairo:Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has emphasized that ensuring freedom of navigation in international waterways is crucial.

According to Qatar News Agency, President El Sisi asserted that the security of Gulf Arab nations is a fundamental aspect of Egypt's national security.

He made these remarks while commemorating the 53rd anniversary of the October War, reiterating Egypt's stance against attacks on Arab nations and its commitment to supporting their sovereignty.

El Sisi also highlighted the necessity of establishing an independent Palestinian state as the only path to achieving regional peace. He rejected any forced displacement and called for the full implementation of U.S. President Donald Trump's Gaza ceasefire plan.
