Doha:The Arab League has condemned Israel's ongoing violations of Syria's borders, including the completion of the "Sufa 53" Line, labeling these actions as violations of Syria's sovereignty and breaches of international law and the 1974 disengagement agreement.
According to Qatar News Agency, Nabil Fahmy, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, highlighted the dangers of Israel's continued incursions into Syrian territory. Fahmy stated that these actions pose serious threats to regional security and stability and increase the risk of expanding conflicts.
Fahmy urged the UN Security Council to take action, restrain Israel, and ensure it respects international law. He called for Israel's withdrawal from Syrian territories occupied after December 8, 2024, and from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. Fahmy also demanded an end to Israel's provocative actions and its exploitation of Syria's current vulnerabilities to further its incursions.
