Egypt was chosen Sunday as chair of a committee tasked with reformulating the system of the association of Arab economic and social councils and similar bodies.

Egypt will be represented by Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan.

The committee members will include Lebanon, Jordan, Algeria and Mauritania.
