An earthquake measuring 5.1 magnitude on the Richter scale hit southeast of Easter Island in Chile on Sunday.
The earthquake occurred 1476.9 km northwest of Hanga Roa, at a depth of 10 km, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
There have been no reports of material damage or tsunamis due to the earthquake so far.
