Narsingdi: The death toll from the earthquake that struck Bangladesh has risen to 10, with dozens more injured.

According to Qatar News Agency, the 5.7 magnitude earthquake, centered near the city of Narsingdi, 40 kilometers east of the capital Dhaka, has so far killed 10 people and injured dozens.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department reported a 3.3 magnitude tremor Saturday morning in the Baypal area of Savar, with no reports of damage or casualties.
