CWRC Reports 63% Surge in Settler Violence in West Bank During 2026

The colonization and wall resistance commission (cwrc) has reported a sharp rise in settler attacks in the west bank during the first seven months of 2026:he Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission (CWRC) has reported a sharp rise in settler attacks in the West Bank during the first seven months of 2026, documenting a 63% increase compared with the same period last year.

According to Qatar News Agency, CWRC issued a statement on Tuesday indicating that they have recorded 4,113 attacks from the beginning of 2026 through the end of July, compared with 2,524 attacks during the same period in 2025, marking an increase of 1,589 attacks.

The Commission emphasized that these attacks should not be seen as isolated incidents. Instead, they are occurring in an environment that is politically, security-wise, and legally conducive, attributed to the establishment of the current far-right government at the end of 2022.

CWRC highlighted the increasing coordination between the occupation army and settlers, aimed at controlling the land and limiting Palestinians' access to their land and means of livelihood.

The Commission also warned that the weak international response and lack of effective deterrence and accountability mechanisms have contributed to the transformation of settler attacks from sporadic incidents into a systematic strategy for altering geographic realities and pressing Palestinian communities toward contraction and displacement.
