Doha: HE Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, engaged in several high-level bilateral meetings with ministers, industry leaders, and delegations at the inaugural MWC25 Doha. The event, organized by GSMA in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, marks its first occurrence in the MENA region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions during these meetings centered on enhancing cooperation in fields such as technological innovation, digital skills development, and accelerating national digital transformation. The dialogues also explored potential joint initiatives to advance the digital economy and prepare talent for future demands.

HE Minister of Communications and Information Technology had a meeting with HE Minister of the Displaced of the Republic of Lebanon, Kamal Shehadeh, where they discussed areas for joint cooperation. Further, the Communications Minister met with VEON Group's senior leadership, including CEO Kaan Terzioglu, to explore opportunities for collaboration in digital innovation and future technologies.

Additionally, HE the Communications Minister had discussions with HE Director General of the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), Eng. Mohammed Ben Amor, and several AICTO officials, focusing on joint efforts to support regional digital progress.
