HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met with HE the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

During the meeting, they reviewed the developments of the political path to resolve the Syrian crisis and the UN efforts to put an end to the crisis and stop the suffering of the Syrian people in accordance with the Declaration of Geneva 1 and Security Council resolution 2254.
