Doha: Hundreds of fans from Qatar and across the Arab world gathered at Old Doha Port for a lively parade ahead of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, set to take place from Dec. 1 to 18. The event celebrated the region's rich culture and passion for football as anticipation builds for the tournament.

According to Qatar News Agency, the march stretched along Doha's waterfront, with supporters from the 23 nations whose teams are competing. Community groups and fan leaders carried national flags, accompanied by traditional music, chants, and songs. The parade reflected the spirit of the Arab Cup, designed to highlight unity among Arab nations and their shared love of the game.

As Qatar prepares to welcome teams and supporters from across the region, the parade served as a reminder of the excitement surrounding the event and its significance in inspiring Arab fans. It also underscored the tournament's status as a gathering that strengthens feelings of camaraderie, unity, and shared identity across the Arab world.

Matches will be played in six stadiums that hosted the 2022 FIFA World Cup: Al Bayt, Lusail, Ahmad bin Ali, Education City, Khalifa International, and Stadium 974. All venues are connected by modern public transport networks and are accessible to fans with disabilities.

Fan zones will feature cultural and entertainment activities to enhance the festive atmosphere during the tournament, considered one of the region's most significant sporting events. Sixteen teams will compete for the title. Nine of the highest-ranked Arab teams qualified automatically, while 14 others will vie for the remaining seven spots in playoffs scheduled for Nov. 25 and 26 in Qatar.
