Al-Gharafa maintained their lead in Qatar Men’s Handball General League for the 2022/2023 sports season after a 25-20 win over Al-Ahli in their match today within the eighth round of the league.

With this victory, Al-Gharafa raised their points to 24 at the top of the standings, while Al-Ahli’s points became 16 points in sixth place.

Al-Duhail produced a 37-30 victory over Al-Rayyan, raising their points to 22 in second place vs 18 points for Al-Rayyan in fourth place.

Al-Wakra also defeated Al-Arabi with 31-24, bringing Al-Wakra’s points to 19 to advance to third place, while Al-Arabi’s points became 17 and fell to fifth place.

Al-Sadd regained its winning streak by defeating Al-Khor 29-22, taking their points to 14 in seventh place, and Al-Khor’s points became 10 in ninth place.
