Doha, The Doha-based Arab Educational Training Center for the Gulf States celebrated Monday obtaining international CPD accreditation from the Professional Development Organization in London.

The celebration was attended by HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, HH Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Qatar Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al-Saud, and HE UNESCO Director of Doha Office for Gulf States Region and Yemen Salah Al-Din Zaki Khalid.

In a speech on the occasion, Director of the Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States, Dr. Fatima Ghanem Al Maadeed said that this accreditation is one of the best international accreditations for training activities in the world, because it provides a framework for continuous learning and development, enhancing ethical behavior in the training field, and contributing to comprehensive quality and credibility for the training profession.

Dr. Al Maadeed noted that this
major achievement reflects the efforts made and the great interest in developing education and training in the countries of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS), and confirms the position of the center as a pioneering institution in the field of education and training, and its continuous endeavor to advance education and develop teachers and trainers of the ABEGS member states.

It also represents a clear message that the Center strives to provide an advanced and sophisticated educational environment that meets the needs of society and ensures the qualification of educational staff with the best methods and practices, she added.

This accreditation means that teachers and trainers in the ABEGS member states would benefit from high-quality training programs that guarantee the continuous improvement of their skills and prepare them to face future challenges, Al Maadeed added.

She highlighted plans for further new activities and events including the launch of the training capitals – a series
