Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has initiated a significant humanitarian operation titled "Gallant Knight 3" to provide aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM). This initiative comes in response to the escalating conflict affecting the region.
According to Jordan News Agency, Under Sheikh Mohamed's direction, the Joint Operations Command of the UAE's Ministry of Defense is set to collaborate closely with various national organizations, including the Emirates Red Crescent, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, and the Zayed Charitable Humanitarian Foundation. These institutions will play key roles in delivering humanitarian support to Palestinians currently enduring hardships due to the ongoing conflict.
In addition to these efforts, Sheikh Mohamed has called for the involvement of medical professionals and volunteers. He has opened doors for doctors registered with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, as well as volunteers registered with the Emirates Red Crescent and other humanitarian and charitable entities within the UAE, to contribute to this critical mission.
The "Gallant Knight 3" operation signifies the UAE's commitment to providing essential humanitarian assistance in times of crisis and underscores the nation's role in supporting global humanitarian efforts, especially in the Middle East.
