Doha: The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems are responding to missile and drone attacks fired from Iran. In a statement, the Ministry said that the sounds heard in various parts of the country were the result of UAE air defense systems engaging ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.

According to Qatar News Agency, earlier on Monday, relevant authorities in Fujairah Emirate announced a fire at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ), resulting from an Iranian drone strike. The statement added that four cruise missiles were also detected coming from Iran, while three Indian nationals were injured in the attacks.
