Two Palestinians injured in an attack by settlers near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, Two Palestinian civilians sustained injuries today in an attack by colonial Israeli settlers in the village of Ni’lin, to the west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to witnesses.

Settlers attacked with stones and clubs several Palestinian protesters who were demonstrating against Israel’s plan to take over large tracts of Palestinian-owned land in the village, injuring two of them, one of whom was injured in the head.

An Israeli military force later arrived at the scene in order to protect the settlers and secure their way out of the area.
