On Tuesday morning, H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, Minister of Municipality, conducted an inspection visit to the Building Permit Complex to oversee the workflow.

On the sidelines of the visit, H.E. held a meeting with the Civil Defense Department and the Ministry’s service entities to discuss ways of development and updating the applicable procedures in the Complex with a view to rapid delivery of the issuance of building permits. This is in addition to working on standardizing procedures in order to ensure coordination between the various concerned authorities. H.E. stressed the need to hold monthly meetings between the complex and the service entities to follow up on the issues that contribute to upgrading performance indicators.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials of the Administration of Civil Defense headed by Brigadier General/ Hamad Othman Al-Dahimi, Director- General of the Administration of Civil Defense. From the Ministry of Municipality, Mr. Mubarak bin Nasser Al-Khalifa, Director of the Minister?s Office, Mr. Mansour Abdullah Al-Mahmoud, Deputy Assistant secretary of Municipal Affairs, Eng. Saad Abdul Karim Al-Qahtani, Director of the Building Permit Complex Department, Mrs. Hamda Al-Maadid, Director of the Information Systems Department, and Mr. Ibrahim Abbas, Director of the Infrastructure Planning Department.
