Kuwait City: HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hanzab engaged in separate meetings with UN officials on Tuesday. The discussions took place in Kuwait, where the Special Envoy met with HE Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director of the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED), Natalia Gherman, as well as HE Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, Vladimir Voronkov. These meetings were held on the sidelines of the high-level conference on the Dushanbe process for combating terrorism, hosted by the State of Kuwait.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings focused on the cooperation and partnership relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism. The discussions revolved around both global and regional collaborations. Additionally, the meetings addressed strategies to enhance and coordinate efforts with the UN Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee E
