The Sheikh Faisal bin Hammad bin Jassim Al Thani-owned two-year-old GOLD LILY (Galileo Gold x Rock Lily) scored by a wide margin over 1,300m at Sluzewiec Racecourse in Poland on Saturday, 23 October.

Trained by Maciej Kacprzyk and ridden to success by Konrad Mazur, the chestnut filly proved far too good for her six rivals and took the 1,300m by six lengths from Chibani (Wings Of Eagles), with AnaSwing (Wings Of Eagles) a further head back in third.

Bred by her owner, Gold Lily is by Tally Ho stallion Galileo Gold (Paco Boy). Her dam, Rock Lily (Rock Of Gibraltar) was a maiden winner at The Curragh and has produced four winners, including the Listed placed Botanic Garden (Royal Applause).
